How to Protect Your Resin

• Keep alcohol, hand sanitizer, perfume, acetone, window cleaners, and similar chemicals away from the resin surface. These products can dull, damage, or soften the glossy finish.
• Avoid placing your tray in a sunny window or prolonged direct sunlight. UV exposure can cause clear or light-colored resin to yellow or change in appearance over time.
• Never place hot coffee mugs, candles, burning incense, or other heated items directly on the tray. Excessive heat can soften, warp, or permanently damage the resin.
• Avoid dropping heavy or sharp objects onto the tray and do not use sharp tools directly on the surface. These can cause scratches, chips, or other damage to your handmade piece.
• Skip abrasive sponges, scouring pads, and harsh scrubbers, as they can scratch or dull the resin finish.

 

How to Clean for Your Resin Tray

• Dust regularly. Gently wipe the surface with a dry or slightly damp microfiber cloth to keep your tray clean and dust-free.
• Clean gently. For stuck-on grime or spills, use cool or lukewarm water with a tiny drop of mild dish soap. Gently wipe the affected area—no heavy scrubbing needed.
• Dry completely. After cleaning, buff the tray dry with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spots and maintain its beautiful finish.
