Resin Coaster & Car Coaster Care Instructions
Your Everyday Flourish resin coasters are handmade with care and designed to bring a little extra sparkle and personality to your everyday spaces. With a little TLC, you can keep them looking beautiful for years to come!
How to Protect Your Resin Coasters
- Keep out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to UV light can affect the resin surface and may cause changes to its appearance over time.
- Handle with care. Avoid dropping your coasters, as hard impacts can cause cracking, chipping, or damage to decorative details.
- Be mindful of extreme heat. Cured resin can tolerate temperatures up to approximately 120°F / 50°C. At higher temperatures, the resin may become soft or slightly flexible and can be permanently damaged.
- Hot mugs are generally okay. The warmth from a typical hot coffee or tea mug should not damage the coaster. You may notice a temporary ring or change in appearance while the resin warms, but it should return to normal as the coaster cools.
- Avoid very hot dishes. Do not place cookware, baking dishes, or food containers directly from the oven or stovetop onto your resin coasters. Extreme heat can cause permanent damage.
- Don’t leave car in a hot car. High temperatures inside a vehicle can soften or warp resin and may cause irreversible damage.
- Keep away from heat sources. Store and use your coasters away from heaters, radiators, fireplaces, open flames, hot appliances, and other direct sources of heat.
🧼 How to Clean Your Resin Coasters
- Hand wash only using warm water and mild dish soap.
- Gently wipe or wash the surface and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads, which can scratch, dull, or damage the resin finish.
- Do not use harsh chemicals or rough cleaning tools on your handmade pieces.
