Resin Charcuterie Board Care
Your Everyday Flourish resin board is handmade with care and designed to add a beautiful touch of flourish to your everyday gatherings. To keep your board looking its best, please follow these care instructions.
How to Protect Your Resin Charcuterie Board
● Not microwave or oven safe. Resin is not designed to withstand the heat of an oven or microwave.
● Not a cutting board. Do not cut directly on the resin surface, as knives can cause deep scratches or damage.
● Avoid sharp objects. Do not place or drag knives, utensils, or other sharp objects across the resin surface.
● Avoid extreme heat. Cured resin cannot withstand temperatures above 120°F / 50°C. Your board is best suited for cold or warm foods. Avoid placing hot foods directly from the oven or stovetop onto the board.
● Keep out of direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can affect the appearance and finish of resin over time.
● Avoid prolonged outdoor use. These boards are intended for indoor use and should not be left outdoors for extended periods.
● Store at room temperature. Keep your board away from heaters, fireplaces, hot appliances, and other direct heat sources (ex: countertop above dishwasher can become hot).
● Display or store properly. Boards should be displayed on a stand or kept flat (either laying flat or hanging appropriately) to help reduce the potential for the board to become misshapen or curved over time.
● Be mindful of acidic or highly pigmented foods. Prolonged direct contact with highly acidic foods or strongly colored fruits may potentially discolor or affect the finish of the resin.
🧼 How to Clean Your Resin Charcuterie Board
● Gently clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild dish soap.
● Dry thoroughly with a soft, clean cloth after washing.
● For boards featuring crystals, textured details, or intricate designs, use a soft toothbrush to gently clean around those areas.
● Not dishwasher safe.
● Do not immerse or soak in water. Prolonged exposure to water can damage the board and its decorative elements.
● Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, scrubbers, or sponges, as these may scratch or dull the finish.
🍓 Food-Safe Resin
At Everyday Flourish, we use resin that is food safe when used as directed. Our resin is compliant with FDA 21 CFR 175.300 and is suitable for contact with food once fully cured.
Once properly cured, the resin is inert and will not leach substances into the food it comes into contact with when the board is used according to these care instructions.
